With current furlough arrangements due to end on 31st March 2021, employers are facing tough decisions as to whether to make employees redundant or perhaps look at more creative means to preserve employment.
The moving target continues ... Cut-off date for eligibility extended to those 'employed' as at 19th March, agreement of 'furlough' in writing required between both parties and eligibility for employees transferring under TUPE.
